LOUVERS

Louvers are a design element used to keep light from entering a building. Louvers come in many shapes and sizes and often become a major part of the design intent.


LINTEL

A lintel is a horizontal block that spans an opening. It is often found over doors or windows.


Lettermark

Logos featuring stylised letters, usually a company’s initials, so the viewer can tell what brand they’re engaging with by just two or three letters—for example, MPESA and SABC.


Legibility

The ease with which a block of text can be read and each letter distinguished.


Leading

The space between lines of type, affecting readability and visual cohesion.
