Junior Graphic Designer – bartaco

We’re looking for a dynamic creative to join our fast-paced, fun marketing team.

The job? Supporting our Senior Graphic Designer and Senior Social Media Manager with a wide variety of projects—creation of graphics/gifs/social templates, print collateral, photography and video projects (assisting with professional shoots as well as capturing content directly, editing, organizing), ideation/brainstorming, and more.

Position is remote, but preferable locations include Boston, Fairfield County Connecticut, Northern Virginia, Atlanta, South Florida.

Qualifications + Additional Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree required (in graphic design or related degree, preferably with a focus in marketing/communications or similar field).
– Minimum of 2+ years of graphic design experience required, in print + digital
creation (job and/or internship).
– Portfolio with a variety of graphic design work from print to digital examples
(personal, professional, and/or course related)
– Proficient in creative suite—InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
– Experience with Google Drive (google docs, google sheets, google slides).
– Experience with video + animation a plus—After Effects and Premier.
– Illustration experience a plus.
– Experience with photography, videography, marketing or journalism a plus.
– Passion for creating food, lifestyle, and other on-brand content—and genuine
interest in what makes content shareable and viral.
– Maintain an ever-current awareness and interest in new creative tools, techniques
and trends.
– Must be detail-oriented, and able to work quickly and independently.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per hour
